Continuing Education Classes: St. Louis Community College offers affordable classes in a variety of subjects, including self-defense, first aid, technology, gardening and more. Fall classes are about to begin. Click below to see the full scope of what they offer:

Zoned Sirens: St. Louis County announced some major changes to how its outdoor siren system operates. Instead of sirens sounding countywide for every tornado or destructive thunderstorm warning, the county will be split into three zones: north, south, and central—with Manchester and Page as the boundaries. The sirens will only sound in affected zone(s). In addition, the system trigger will now be automated, rather than waiting for a human finger to find a button and push it.

Neighborhood Preservation: Public street lights are maintained by Ameren. If a street light is out, feel free to contact Ameren: 1-800-552-7583 or email servicerequests@ameren.com. Please include a street address and a light pole number. The pole number can be found on a tag located about eye level on the light pole. This information can always be found on Bel-Nor’s website under UTILITIES.
