The City of Bel Nor Board of Alderpersons passed the 2026 Fiscal Year Budget on the 19th day of January, 2026, through Ordinance 1175 / Bill 1209. The budget was approved by unanimous vote.

The adopted budget includes the General Fund, Capital Improvement Fund, Public Safety Fund, Sewer Lateral Fund, ARPA, Debt Service Fund and Capital Project Fund.
Missouri law requires political subdivisions to prepare an annual budget. Municipalities in St. Louis County must also annually publish information on their website demonstrating compliance with state minimum standards, including maintaining a balanced annual budget.
The official budget and related public records are maintained by the City and are available for public inspection or copying through the City Clerk's Office in accordance with Missouri's Sunshine Law.
The City also provides the budget online as an additional convenience and to make financial information easier for residents to access.
