Congratulations to 3049 Delevan Drive! This house was voted best decorated house by Bel-Nor residents. We encourage everyone to take a drive or a walk through the neighborhood to see the festive decorations of the residents.

How do I qualify? Live Christmas Trees can be dropped off at Forest Park, O’Fallon Park or St. Louis Composting locations.

Neighborhood Preservation: Interested in ways to improve your home’s energy efficiency? Consider a home energy audit. According to the US Dept . of Energy, the average homes wastes more than 305 of the energy it consumes. A home energy audit helps homeowners determine where their house is losing energy and money-and how such problems can be corrected to make the home more energy efficient. An energy auditor can check for leaks, examine insulation, inspect the furnace and ductwork, and perform a blower door test using an infrared camera Information about discounted or free home energy audits for income-qualified individuals can be found here:  Home Energy Audit web page

Neighborhood Safety: It’s a bustling season, so remember to secure your doors—both for your vehicles and your homes. Be sure to break down the boxes from your holiday shopping to fit into your recycling bin, helping to keep curious eyes from noticing your recent purchases. Keep select lights on when you are gone for the evening.
