City Hall Closed: City Hall is experiencing plumbing issues and will remain closed until repairs and clean-up are finished. The city clerk and the city administrator are available via phone or email and will continue to work their regular hours. Permits can be applied for and paid online through the website.


August 4th Elections: Early voting begins on July 21st. Times are: Monday through FridayJuly 21 - July 31, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturdays, July 25 & August 1, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and Monday, August 3, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. UMSL Millennium Center will be open for early voting. For more details and locations on early voting, check out the STL County Bord of Elections page.

To understand what’s on the ballot, you can click here and enter your address to see your ballot. Among the numerous candidates to vote for, there are multiple amendments and propositions. Please take time to research these issues from reputable news sources.


Street Dance: Mark your calendar, the Street Dance will be Saturday, August 29th. Would you like to host a family-friendly activity or game for the Street Dance? Would you like to volunteer for an hour to help out? We are looking for volunteers to help host and coordinate this evening. Please contact the committee with your ideas, belnorbe@gmail.com


Christine’s Coffee has new hours starting on July 1. They are also hosting special events this summer. Check out their facebook page for more information.


Neighborhood Preservation: To prevent mosquitoes, eliminate breeding grounds by emptying standing water from birdbaths, planters, and gutters or use a mosquito dunk. Use a fan when outdoors, mosquitoes are weak flyers.


Neighborhood Safety: Stay cool on hot days. Drink plenty of water, this goes for kids, pets, and young trees too.
